Sameer Wankhede gets death threat

The Goregaon police registered a non-cognisable complaint on Friday after former zonal director of Narcotics Control Bureau Sameer Wankhede complained to them about death threats he received via social media. Wankhede told TOI that the threats appeared to be linked to his complaint against former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik on August 14 for "committing atrocities against a Dalit individual."
