Centre Vs Supreme Court: Govt rejects names recommended by collegium for elevation as HC judges

While sending the files back to the top court, the Centre has urged it to reconsider the proposal for the elevation of senior advocate Saurabh Kirpal as a Judge in the Delhi High Court. Senior Lawyer Saurabh Kripal belongs to the LGBT community and is the son of former Chief Justice of India BN Kirpal.
