EAM Jaishankar meets newly-appointed UK foreign secretary David Cameron; discusses Indo-Pacific situation

External affairs minister S Jaishankar met the newly appointed British foreign secretary David Cameron on Monday and exchanged views on the situation in West Asia, the Ukraine conflict and the Indo-Pacific. Congratulating Cameron on his appointment, foreign minister Jaishankar wrote on X, "A pleasure to meet UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron this afternoon on his first day in office. Congratulated him on his appointment." ​"Look forward to working with him closely," the minister added.
