2 cops suspended for ‘harassing’ Mumbai actress

Two police officers in Vijayawada have been suspended following allegations of harassment and wrongful confinement made by a Mumbai-based actress. The actress reported illegal detention and torture by Ibrahimpatnam police, leading to an FIR being registered. Inspector M Satyanarayana and ACP K Hanumantha Rao were suspended as a result, as per orders from DGP Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao.
