For the past few weeks, there have been many controversies about the latest Russian ban to participate in major international sports events.  Russia was banned for four years after its athletes were found to have used banned drugs.  This means that Russia will not be allowed to participate in the 2020 summer Olympics in Japan, and the 2022 Football World Cup, which will be held in Qatar.
