Asian Markets Mostly Lower

Asian stock markets are mostly lower on Tuesday, extending losses from the previous session, following the following the weak cues overnight from Wall Street amid fears the coronavirus outbreak could escalate into a pandemic and derail global economic growth. The Japanese market, which resumed trading after a long holiday weekend, is sharply lower while the safe-haven yen strengthened.
