The US stock market weakened this Friday pressured by the news that US President Donald Trump has contracted COVID-19 and data showing a slowdown in recovery in the battered US labor market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell almost 0.5% while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 2.2%, capping the week up nearly 1.5%. The Standard & Poor’s 500 weakened about 1% to close out the five-day period 1.5% higher.
