(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, April 9 (KUNA) -- The coalition forces supporting legitimacy in Yemen have intercepted and destroyed a booby-trapped drone fired deliberately and systematically by the "terrorist" Houthi militias to target Saudi civilians in the city of Khamis Mushait.Houthi's repeated hostile attempts of launching drones and ballistic missiles are continued violation of international humanitarian law, endangering the lives of hundreds of civilians, coalition's spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki said in a press statement carried by Saudi Press Agency.Describing the attempts as "war crimes," the statement affirmed that coalition forces would take all measures and the best methods to deal with these drones in order to protect civilians and civil areas.In addition, the forces would implement deterrent measures against these militias to neutralize and destroy their capabilities, in line with international humanitarian law and its norms, it noted.
