Advisory issued for Qataris travelling to Greece

(MENAFN - The Peninsula) Doha: The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Greece has issued a notice for Qatari travellers heading to Greece.   In a notice posted on the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy said, ''Based on the decision of the Greece government to relax some COVID-19 precautionary measures and allow Qatari citizens to enter the country with exemption from quarantine, travellers have to adhere to several processes.” Travellers have to fill the form ''PLF” which is available at ''travel.gov.gr.” Those who are not vaccinated have to conduct ''PCR” before 72 hours of their travel and must be negative. All travellers will be subject to fast check up in Greece airports, and accordingly, all must comply with preventive measures there.  Travellers must show full vaccine certificates in English issued by a recognised official hospital. The second dose of the vaccine should have passed 14 days and should include all data of the traveller, identical to his/her document. Those infected with the virus and recovered must show proof and should have passed a COVID-19 test since the infection. The Embassy has advises all travellers to coordinate with the airline companies in line with the applicable procedures. Travellers must also adhere to the health measures applied in the Republic of Greece.  MENAFN17052021000063011010ID1102090028
