Palestine cautions Israel about measures against Palestinian people in East Jerusalem

(MENAFN) On Sunday, May. 23 Palestine cautioned Israel about measures against Palestinian people, particularly in East Jerusalem, stating they may cause more conflict in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The caution was released by Palestinian Presidential spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh after Palestinian social media activists posted short videos of Israeli police forces assaulting Palestinian worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem. He noted: "the Israeli government is fully responsible for sabotaging the efforts of ending the Israeli aggression." Abu Rudeineh further said that restoring the actions against the Palestinian people in East Jerusalem "would sabotage the international and Arab efforts to reconstruct what had been destroyed in the Gaza Strip."
