Jordan calls for Israel�s ambassador over detention of 2 Jordanian nationals

(MENAFN) On Tuesday, May. 25 Jordan called for Israel�s ambassador in Amman and conveyed a "strongly-worded message" objecting to the arrest of two Jordanian nationals in Israel. The Jordanian Embassy in Tel Aviv should be given permission to see the two Jordanians as early as possible and Israel is to be held responsible for their safety, stated Deifallah Fayez, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Two Jordanian people were detained after they traversed into Israel after massive protests in Jordan close to the Israeli frontiers to demonstrate against the Israeli violence on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem and the West Bank, noted the ministry in mid-May.
