Lebanese gov�t looks forward to reinforcing relations with Syria in all fields

(MENAFN) A declaration by the Lebanese Presidency said that on Friday, May. 28 Lebanese President Michel Aoun stated that his country looks forward to reinforcing bilateral relations with Syria in all fields. Lebanese president also confirmed profound historical relations between both nations. His comments came in a letter delivered to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to congratulate him on his victory in the 2021 presidential polls. Aoun noted: "I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of your re-election as the president of the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, hoping efforts will continue in the next phase to stabilize your country and restore cohesion among all its areas."
