(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov 27 (Petra) –– Jordan recorded 29 coronavirus deaths and 2,674 infections Saturday, taking the death toll to 11,515 and the caseload since the start of the pandemic to 939,293, according to the Ministry of Health.The positivity rate of PCR tests for the day reached 8.83 per cent, according to the ministry's daily media brief.It indicated that the number of currently active cases in the Kingdom stood at 49,622, with 156 admitted to hospitals today and 1,037 currently being hospitalized. 101 Covid-19 patients were discharged today.The occupancy rate of isolation beds in the northern region was 30 per cent, intensive care beds 51 per cent and respirators 30 per cent, it showed.In the central region, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was 25 per cent, intensive care 38 per cent and respirators 17 per cent, it said.In the southern region, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was 12 per cent, intensive care beds 18 per cent and respirators 15 per cent, it said.The daily report indicated that 2,452 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of recoveries after the end of the 14-day isolation period to 878,156.The number of those who got vaccinated for the first time climbed to 4,114,712 and recipients of the double jab reached 372,035, according to ministry figures.MENAFN27112021000117011021ID1103262161
