Concern for male - Bude

At approximately 6:20 pm this evening Devon and Cornwall Police were called to Summerleaze Beach in Bude after a report of a male being seen to enter the water fully clothed.


Police co-ordinated a detailed search involving the Fire and Rescue service, the Coastguard and the RNLI but have yet to locate and identify the male.


Police are asking anyone who saw this male who is believed to be approximately 40 years old and about 6’0 tall, wearing black wellington boots and a 3/4 length overcoat in or around the Summerleaze Beach area to make contact on Tel: 101 quoting police reference 686 of 28/10/2020
