SEOUL, South Korea, Dec. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- 2019 Seoul Christmas Festival Organization Committee announced plan for the 5th annual '2019 Seoul Christmas Festival' (SCF).2019 Seoul Christmas Festival

2019 SCF will be hosted by the Kyunghyang Shinmun, C Channel Broadcasting station, and Agape Cultural Foundation, managed by 2019 Seoul Christmas Festival Organization Committee, and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Korea Tourism Organization. Starting with a lighting ceremony filled with events including lighting of the decorations, and performances on December 13th at Cheonggye Plaze, the festival will be held until January 1, 2020 near Cheonggyecheon Stream area (from Cheonggye Plaza to Jangtonggyo Bridge).

This year's theme is 'Christmas in Seoul with Santa'. The festival will have 5 zones with different themes, dream, joy, Santa, blessing, and hope, where giant trees, Santa villages, blooming snow flowers (snow on the branches), flying wish lanterns and other events will present special memories for the citizens of Seoul and tourists, as if they are pulled into the winter fairytale.
