FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On June 15th, the Miami Dade Board and Code Administration Division sent an advisory to all building officials in Miami Dade County to not accept Brazilian plywood bearing the PS-1 stamp as a means of indicating code compliance. This is a result of a federal court’s permanent injunction barring longtime Brazilian plywood certifier PFS-TECO from any further operations due to their certification of substandard plywood imported from Brazil.
