Archbishop calls for political reform in Puerto Rico (Crux)

Puerto Rico’s leading Catholic prelate has called for an end to political corruption and a restoration of the island’s social and economic life. In a 28-page pastoral letter reflecting on upcoming elections, Archbishop Roberto Gonzalez of San Juan said that Puerto Rico is facing not only economic difficulties but a “crisis of political credibility.”
