BJP's first list: PM to contest from Varanasi, Shah from Gandhinagar

PM Narendra Modi will seek re-election from Varanasi and BJP president Amit Shah will contest from Gandhinagar, the BJP announced as it released its first list of 184 candidates for the coming LS polls. Gandhinagar was till now the political bastion of veteran BJP leader LK Advani. Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh will contest from Nagpur and Lucknow, respectively.
