BJP's first list: PM to contest from Varanasi, Shah from Gandhinagar
Thursday, 21 March 2019 PM Narendra Modi will seek re-election from Varanasi and BJP president Amit Shah will contest from Gandhinagar, the BJP announced as it released its first list of 184 candidates for the coming LS polls. Gandhinagar was till now the political bastion of veteran BJP leader LK Advani. Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh will contest from Nagpur and Lucknow, respectively.
BJP Leader JP Nadda addresses a press conference and announced 184 Candidates in their first list . In the List, LK Advani replaced by Amit Shah in Gandhinagar, Modi will contest from Varanasi and Rajnath Singh to contest from Lucknow.
