Yu Darvish spins a gem, Cubs dispatch of Pirates, 6-3

After pitching six innings of two-hit, shutout baseball, Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Yu Darvish lowered his season ERA to 2.70. More importantly for Chicago, he got the win. Jason Kipnis hit his first home run of the season as the Cubs improved to 5-2 on the year with a 6-3 win over the division-rival Pirates.
