Samsung typically launches new Galaxy S models in February, while the actual sales begin a month later in the majority of markets across the world. This is the calendar the South Koreans have used for the last few major releases, including the Galaxy S20 that was announced earlier this year. Theoretically, a similar approach would be used for the Galaxy S21 as well, though this time there’s a chance the company embraces a different schedule for a good reason. Since sales of the Galaxy S20 haven’t been really the best due to the lockdowns that occurred everywhere across the world, Samsung must bring the next Galaxy S flagship to the market earlier than anticipated.
