NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new Vulkan GeForce Graphics driver update, namely version 473.60 beta, which maintains Vulkan 1.3 support (ensures access to advanced features like ray tracing and mesh shaders) and adds compatibility with a new extension (VK_KHR_ray_tracing_maintenance1). In terms of supported GPUs, this release is valid for certain models of NVIDIA’s Ampere, Turing, Volta, Pascal, and Maxwell 1 & 2 architectures that include the TITAN, GeForce RTX, and Quadro GPU models as described in the Release Notes below. As for the operating systems, the present update is only compatible with 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 and 11 platforms.
