Microsoft has confirmed a new bug in Windows 11 2022 Update, as the company says that in some cases, users could end up struggling with lower-than-expected performance when running apps and games. At this point, it looks like the whole thing is happening because these apps somehow enable the GPU performance debugging features that shouldn’t normally be used. As a result, the software giant says, an upgrade block has been enabled, meaning that devices potentially affected by the glitch would no longer be offered the move to Windows 11 2022 Update. “Some games and apps might experience lower than expected performance or stuttering on Windows 11, version 22H2. Affected games and apps are inadvertently enabling GPU performance debugging features not meant to be used by consumers. To safeguard your upgrade experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on devices affected by this issue from being offered or installing Windows 11, version 22H2,” the software giant
