Theatre legend met Noele Gordon at 16 and predicted 'Nolly' TV series 35 years ago

Former Birmingham Mail theatre critic Fred Norris was just 16 when he first met Crossroads star Noele Gordon - and when the soap ended in 1988 he predicted a TV drama would be made about her life.
