Thousand Oaks shooting: 13 dead including gunman in shooting at California bar
Thursday, 8 November 2018 () Thirteen people are dead after a gunman opened fire on a crowd at a country dance bar holding a weekly "college night" Wednesday in Southern California, sending hundreds fleeing in terror including some who used barstools to break windows and escape, authorities said.
Ventura County Sheriff Geoff Dean joins "CBS This Morning" from Thousand Oaks to discuss what authorities know so far about what happened inside a Southern California bar Wednesday night. Twelve people, including a sheriff's sergeant, were killed. Police later found the shooter dead inside.
According to Reuters, the FBI determined a former Marine acted alone when he assaulted a bar in Southern California.
