San Francisco school to paint over mural of George Washington

The "Life of Washington," painted in 1936 by a leading San Francisco muralist, depicts slaves working at Mount Vernon and a dead Native American. Scheduled to be covered up, some say the uncomfortable facts about U.S. history should be preserved.
