The average U.S. household has a credit card debt of about $5,700, according to an analysis of census and Federal Reserve data. Overall, consumer debt has been rising significantly since the recession more than 10 years ago. Ted Rossman, an industry analyst at Bankrate.com, joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss how overspending on credit cards can affect your finances for years to come.
