Day 4, Part 4: Adam Schiff and Daniel Goldman question Gordon Sondland
Wednesday, 20 November 2019 House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and Daniel Goldman, senior adviser and director of investigations on the committee, questioned U.S. Ambassador to the E.U. Gordon Sondland on Wednesday, the fourth day of public impeachment hearings.
Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, said he told Vice President Mike Pence in September that the Ukraine aid appeared to be stalled because of the demand for investigations. Sondland said Pence gave him 'sort of a duly noted response' and didn't ask a follow-up question.
