By any deals necessary President Donald Trump's defense-team celebrity, Alan Dershowitz, made an unexpected claim Wednesday. In the GOP-controlled Senate impeachment trial he declared: "If a president does something which he believes will help him get elected in the public interest, that cannot be the kind of quid pro quo that results in impeachment."
