QFC, Fred Meyer announce 'hero bonus' for grocery store workers during COVID-19 outbreak

A pair of local grocery chains announced pay increases Tuesday to support all of its workers while the country grapples with the coronavirus outbreak. QFC and Fred Meyer will pay all of its grocery workers, including supply chain, manufacturing, pharmacy and call center associates, a "hero bonus" for working on the frontlines of the crisis.
