Tropical depression forms in Gulf of Mexico, 'life-threatening' rain for south Mexico, Central America

A tropical depression in the Gulf of Mexico is forecast to become a tropical storm on Tuesday, bringing heavy rains and life-threatening flash flooding in parts of southern Mexico and Central America.
