Following backlash and a call to #BoycottStarbucks over social media, the Seattle-based coffee chain has reversed its policy to allow employees to wear Black Lives Matter apparel to show their support for the movement. An internal memo received by Buzzfeed this week reinforced the company's dress code policies which do not allow employees to wear political or religious affiliated attire. The company stated that the attire could be misconstrued by "agitators" or incite violent.
