Report: Gov. Newsom expected to order Calif. schools on watchlist stay closed

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is expected to announce at a Friday press briefing that schools in counties on the watch list open with distance learning, according to the Sacramento Bee. Counties would need to meet strict criteria to offer in-class instruction.
