Trump administration adds new restrictions on work permits for asylum-seekers

The Trump administration is implementing a new rule requiring asylum-seekers to wait 365 days before applying for a work permit, instead of the previous 150-day timeline. It also disqualifies them from work permits if they crossed the border illegally.
