Domestic violence suspect fatally shot by multiple officers in Puyallup

PUYALLUP, Wash. -- A man suspected in a domestic violence assault was fatally shot during a confrontation with several police officers in Puyallup Sunday night. An officer from Buckley, with the help of a Puyallup officer and two Pierce County Sheriff's deputies went to a home in the 1700 block of Kilt Court around 9 p.m. to look for a man suspected in a domestic violence assault that had occurred earlier in the day in Carbonado, according to Wendy Haddow with Tacoma Police, one of the investigating agencies. At some point, police caught up with their suspect on the road near the home and officers opened fire.
