Prince Philip, 97, misses Cenotaph service for first time in 20 years
Sunday, 11 November 2018 Prince Philip was absent from the service - one of the few times he has missed the occasion. The 97-year-old (pictured) was seen yesterday riding his carriage on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The Duke of Sussex planted a memorial cross in the Field of Remembrance in Westminster Abbey in honour of soldiers who have died in battle. Following the service, he met with veterans and even met Watchman VI, a dog who is the mascot of the Staffordshire Regiment.
