WASHINGTON - US President Donald Trump forced the cancellation Thursday of a trip to Afghanistan by his Democratic opponent Nancy Pelosi, and scrapped administration officials' travel to the Davos forum as a biting government shutdown plunged Washington deeper into deadlock.
