France to ban 'yellow vest' protests if violent groups take part: PM
Monday, 18 March 2019 France's prime minister said Paris's police chief had been sacked and that the government would shut down "yellow vest" protests if violent groups were identified among the ranks of "yellow vest" protesters.
France offered a wary welcome to foreign ministers from the Group of Seven on Friday for a meeting overshadowed by a snub from the U.S., Brexit and "Yellow Vests" protests in Paris. Anna Bevan reports.
