Climate change protests snarl up central London, 135 arrested
Monday, 7 October 2019 () Climate change protesters blocked traffic across London's government district of Westminster on Monday as they launched two weeks of peaceful civil disobedience to call for urgent action to curb carbon emissions.
Extinction Rebellion protesters glued themselves to the road outside London City Airport on Thursday (October 10) as part of the ongoing climate change protests.
Officers used a superglue de-bonder to unstick protesters' hands from the road before leading them away.
