Two killed in shooting at synagogue in Germany, suspects flee in hijacked car

Two people were killed in shooting attacks on a synagogue and a kebab bistro in the eastern German city of Halle on Wednesday and one suspect was arrested, but two others fled in a hijacked a car, officials said.

Several shots have been fired in the eastern German city of Halle, leaving two people dead, police said. One person was killed near a synagogue on the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur and a witness reported that a nearby kebab shop was also attacked.
