WHO's Kluge warns against further lifting of lockdown in England: Guardian
Sunday, 14 June 2020 () The coronavirus induced lockdown in England should not be further lifted until the government's contact-tracing system proves to be "robust and effective", the World Health Organization's regional European director Hans Kluge said.
Trust in politicians and senior advisers will be crucial for government messaging to hit home as lockdown measures are eased, the regional director of the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Europe has said. Dr Hans Kluge said a symbiotic relationship between “leadership and citizenship” was needed, saying it was “very important” for the former to “build trust” with the latter.
