Mysterious streaks of light seen in the sky over California

A group of people were at a party in Sacramento when they saw streaks of light in the sky. They were shocked and amazed when it was over in about 40 seconds. The brewery owner posted the video to Instagram and asked if anyone could solve the mystery. Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, said that the streaks of light were from burning space debris.
