Then at 9 alf.
Then at 10, a replay of "bridge street."
>> sistina: two dancers currently starring on broadway, here with more ask is kathleen rathman.
Kathleen, tell us a little bit about this new summer show.
Some exciting performances from two very talented dancers right?
>> this performance is at syracuse city ballet we love to show because we're so diverse.
And this has classical ballet, modern contemporary and amazing choreography.
Zachary downer who was just last week on so you think can you dance, is also on broad which as mr. mestopheles.
With claire, she was on so you think you can dance, too, and now they're both on broadway.
>> sistina: she's the white cat.
The ballerina cat.
She was also on so you think can you dance.
So for you guys, you guys are doing it at the cala theater, a little different this year.
So why the change?
>> i went out to the theater and i said this is stunning.
It is a beautiful venue and they really want the arts out there and they mostly have to come to syracuse to get it.
So we said let's do this.
So we're going to build out the stage and we have up an eclectic group and our cuban refugees are dancing.
It's so much different between zack and claire and then we have a rockette that choreographed a piece for us.
We're not supposed to say that.
Then we're having a visit from the ghost busters, we're doing this big ghost buster band cruising around polaski.
>> there's really something for everyone.
If you are in for classics, if you are in something new, we have new choreographers.
A really good evening.
>> sistina: kathleen it sort of takes people away from we often think of the nutcracker or snow white.
This is assort of an untraditional way to sort of immerse people in the art of dance, right?
If you have never seen a ballet you're going to love it and if you've seen ballet, you're going to love it.
It's really something for everybody and it's fast paced and everything is different.
>> tenesha: rachel, you are actually dancing in the piece.
Tell us about it.
>> i'll be dancing with our cuban refugee dancers who are resident dancers.
We put the piece together for shakespeare in the park.
It's fiddle music, something different for us.
We decided to put it in the show to add it in the mix.
>> tenesha: carrie lazarus put something if her focus, how are they doing?
>> they're going so strong.
It's the cutest cutest thing, they're adorable.
>> sistina: it's fantastic.
If you would like to see the syracuse city ballet their summer heat happening wednesday, august 15th, in north jefferson illustrate on polaski.
>> tenesha: sounds like it's
