Elon Musk Wants to Increase Model 3 Production

According to an internal letter sent to employees at Tesla, Elon Musk has changed the production target for the Model 3 again.

Now, Tesla's CEO wants the company to manufacture 6,000 cars per week by June, up from 5,000 cars per week.

But Tesla is manufacturing between 2,000 and 2,500 cars on the Model 3 production line per week, and June is only two months away.

The new target will be a staggering challenge to meet, as production for the Model 3 has been temporarily suspended.
