Local Pro Wrestlers getting ready for Brawlfest
They are rough and tumble, but they have to be because wrestling fans expect a lot from these guys.
Grapplers Anonymous is where local wrestlers go to mix it up and learn the finer points of their sport.
Brandon Thurston is a wrestler and trainer, he says "there's a lot of entertainment aspect to it-but it's also really hard hitting-really athletic-really difficult."
It's not just the newbies who come here to train.
Kevin Bennett is the Empire State Wrestling Champ.
He and some of the other athletes here are getting "tuned-up" for Saturday's "Brawlfest" at St.
Johnsburg Fire Hall in North Tonawanda.
Kevin says "I'm twenty-four years old, I started training when I was sixteen and I've always been in love with professional wrestling.
I've been doing it since I was little."
