DeVos Derailed Civil Rights Probes Inherited From Obama Administration
The Department of Education and its secretary, Betsy DeVos, are under fire again.
FiveThirtyEight.com has revealed that DeVos “scuttled more than 1,200 civil rights investigations.” The investigations began during President Obama’s tenure and lasted at least six months.
These investigations concerned violations including discrimination and sexual violence.
The incidents under investigation took place in school districts and colleges across the country.
