British counter-terrorism detectives believe they may have finally found the source of the nerve agent novichok, that left a woman dead and a man critically ill.????Detectives finding a small bottle in the home of the male victim, 45-year-old Charlie Rowley.
That bottle confirmed to have contained the Soviet-developed nerve agent.
The question, now, how did that bottle come into Rowley’s home.????The find comes one week after the victim’s partner 44-year-old Dawn Sturgess died after the pair fell ill June 30th.
Rowley has regained consciousness, remaining in serious but stable condition, USA Today reports.????This is the second time Britain has grappled with the incredibly dangerous nerve agent.
The first time was the poisoning of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal, who was living in the UK, and his daughter Yulia.
Both managed to recover.
Britain and the UK have accused Russia of the poisoning, which its authorities deny. ????At this point, police are working to determine whether this latest poisoning is the same batch of novichok.
Russia has denied any involvement.??
