The “Pretty in Pink” Tea & Luncheon for Candy’s Place will take place Sunday at the Woodlands in Wilkes-Barre.

Chef Phil Cerminara is in the kitchen to make raspberry chicken & Nicole Hapshe from Candy’s Place will preview the event.

>> we are in the kitchen cooking up a delicious meal that will actually be at the fundraiser for candy's place this sunday.

And here to tell us all about it we have nicole.

So tell us about candy's place.

>> candy's place is a cancer wellness center and we provide wellness services for cancer parybts for their loved ones free no charge.

Things lies massage, reflexology, fitness classes, everything to just kind of help them feel better about themselves going through chemo, radiation, a place to escape and just relax and take, you know, take a load off.

>> that's so important, i imagine, when anyone is going through that.

>> oh yeah, and they are so grateful for what we provide to them and i'm so grateful to be part of this organization and do everything we do.

We have a wig boutique also, we give free wigs to them, they are so expensive and it's really, everything is donated.

We have such a great community who is so involved with candy's place.

We are a nonprofit and the community is just, has been wonderful to us and donate all the time.

>> so every penny counts which is why this fund raise letter help in so many ways.

>> in so many ways, we are in our 20th year so for 2018 i would like to grow and add new services and just continue to help the cancer parybts in the community.

>> okay so to come to this event, how much does it cost.

>> it's $35.

>> and that gets you one of the things is this delicious meal.

>> now that i learned the trick to it.

So let's talk about this meal.

There is this delicious chick then this raspberry sauce.

>> it is a balsamic raspberry chicken, fresh chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper, thiem, pan seared it, deblaze-- deglazed it with finished it and top with fresh raspberries t is simple.

>> i feel so happy i get to try this.

>> gluten free.

>> i'm not glutenfree, i like gluten but-- for people that can't have it, this is a great option.

>> really simple, really fast dish, right in the pan.

>> lack at that.

>> and the carrots too.

>> a really, it looks like's healthy option.
