REUTERS, Serena Williams, Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Mulroney/Instagram, ??Meghan Markle was forced to close her social media accounts ahead of joining the Royal Family, but the Duchess of Sussex is technically still on social media… you just gotta know where to look.????At the moment she’s taking on her first solo project as a royal, supporting a charity cookbook with women who survived the Grenfell Tower fires last year.????Kensington Palace says the book, titled “Together: Our Community Cookbook”, "celebrates the power of cooking to bring communities together,"????And no one is more excited than her BFF’s.????Serena Williams praised her friends efforts on social media saying:????"I used to call you Meghan (and I still do) but dear Duchess of Sussex your first project 'Together' a cookbook bringing women of all cultures together.

I could not be more excited about it and proud of you,"????More shoutouts were given by Quantico star Priyanka Chopra, and her best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney.????Vanity Fair points out there is something a bit unprecedented going on here with the announcement strategy.????Meghan gets the age of social media, and she knows her celebrity friends can reach a wide range of followers.????
