It's 6:5, time for the morning sprint.

Snow moved through overnight... and while the haddie says the flakes won't sick... the cold temperatures will.

And josh spreiter is live at the alliant energy center... where you can check out plans to re-develop the area.

But we start at the dane county jail - where a sun-prairie man is facing a homicide charge... after a deadly drunk driving crash over the weekend.

Officials say 46- year-old nicholas hanley tried passing another car on highway-t yesterday... in the town of sun prairie.

That car was trying to turn... when hanley's pickup-truck crashed into the driver's side... killing the driver and sending a passenger to the hospital.

There's no word on that passenger's condition this morning.

Beloit police are looking into some suspicious activity in driveways across that city... posting this video on its facebook page.

Around 2 a-m sunday... two people walk up to a truck in the 21-hundred block of elmwood avenue and use flashlights to peak inside.

Police say they had several reports of things being stolen in that neighborhood at that time.

Madison police are about to get a federal grant worth a quarter-of-a- million dollars... to help train schools how to prevent violence.

The state- journal says the funding would help the department train staff at madison's four high-schools and two alternative high schools.

Madison's city council will vote on accepting the grant at their meeting tomorrow.

I'm josh spreiter live at the alliant energy center - where you'll get the chance to check out a draft of plans for the center's future.

The county hopes to transform the grounds here - attracting more events and people to the area.

They hope to collect additional feedback from you tonight before moving on to a final recommendation in december.

The plan calls for an upgrade of the coliseum - while building restaurants and hotels along john nolen drive.

Their goal is transform south madison - attracting more events and people to the area.

The meeting this evening is in the expo hall from 5:30 to 7.

Cool weather will continue over wisconsin for much of the week.

Skies will be partly sunny with high temperatures in the low 40s this afternoon.

Nearly 80 people are still missing in mexico beach, florida this morning... after hurricane michael swept through last week.

Almost two dozen people died as a result of that storm system.

More than 400- thousand homes and businesses across seven different states are still without power.

Experts are worried oil prices could go up significantly... as a result of international fall-out over the journalist's disappearance.

The world is watching again... as prince harry and duchess meghan are expecting their first child.

They made that announcement this morning.

The baby's due next spring... and would be the seventh in line for the throne.

Democratic candidate for governor... tony evers... says he wants to cut income-taxes by 10-percent... for people making less than 100- thousand- dollars a year.

Evers says the tax-cut would provide 340- million dollars in relief... to lower- and middle-class families.

A campaign spokesperson for governor walker -- says evers' plan is unclear... and walker is the only candidate with a proven record of cutting taxes.

If you live in madison, you can expect your monthly water bill to go up... so the water- utility-board can dig itself out of a 6-million- dollar deficit.

The state- journal reports the public- service- commission approved that 30-percent rate hike... meaning your bill will be about 7-dollars more expensive every month.

The commission criticized the utility's money mismanagement and gave it a 60- day deadline to submit a recovery plan.

The brewers are waking up in sunny l-a this morning... for game-3 of the n- l-c-s.

The series is split 1-and-1... after the dodgers beat milwaukee at miller-park saturday... thanks to a 2-run homer by bearded-phenom justin turner.

Jhoulys chacin will start for the brewers.

The zoo says it's important to talk with visitors about what they can do to fight climate change.

Starting to pick up on the westbound beltline, tapping the brakes between monona dr and w.

Broadway adding a couple minutes in that direction.

Just a few brakelights on the inbound side of john nolen between olin ave and north shore drive with but that shouldn't slow you down more than a minute or two.

Northbound verona road slowing down prior to the hwy pd intersection and other main routes heading into madison, are moving along at the usual speeds with no crashes or delays.

Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy and chilly; high temperatures will be the lower 50s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and chilly with high temperatures in the upper 40s, while thursday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and milder with high temperatures returning to the middle to upper 50s.
