Cynthia Nixon Was One Of The Readers At Tribute To Ursula K. Le Guin
Cynthia Nixon was among the guests Monday night at a tribute to author Ursula K.
Le Guin, says SF Gate.
The legendary science fiction-fantasy author died in January at age 88.
At Monday's event, Nixon, who was defeated last month by incumbent Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic gubernatorial primary, read from Le Guin's remarks upon receiving a National Book Award in 2014.
The speech was partially an attack on corporate greed, a theme that fit well with Nixon's candidacy.
